Here are some of the things I get up to when I’m not knitting…
I LOVE The Great Outdoors and really enjoy walking, camping and cycling in the countryside or on the coast.
6&7 November 2010 – South Downs walk over 2 days
This is taken on Devil’s Dyke in Sussex, on the South Downs Way. I walked from there with Simon to Steyning then the following day we walked from Steyning to Worthing via Chanctonbury and Sissbury Rings..
This is me on Chanctonbury hill, smiling because I love it there, it’s one of my favourite places in the UK, if not the world!
On Cissbury hill which is an Iron age fort on the South Downs. We saw a beautiful cloud formation and amazing sunset. Behind me you can see all the way to the cliffs at Seven Sister’s, towards Eastbourne. Note I’m wearing my favourite jumper ever. It’s a Shetland wool one from Brora but I like to wear it for a bit of hiker-chic!
The famous Beech tree formation at Chanctonbury, the beach at Worthing is on the horizon, where we ended our walk.
Worthing beach, final destination after 2 days of walking!
December 2010 – Slovakia trip – photos coming soon!
May 2011 – Fabric Brooch Workshop – look at the lovely brooches I made! They also have Bobby pins on the back so they can be used as hairclips. If you want one you will have to part with four of your English pounds (postage included).
